Welcome to our 2008 update - Apologies for being slightly late but we are opening this year on March 8th. We are emerging from our winter hibernation but Barry has been rather restricted with a balance problem (not too much Gin!)

He is determined to carry on as usual - enthusiasm and interest are still a real focus as it has been for over 36 years. He may take a little longer to solve a problem these days. (Don't we all!)

You will all be pleased to know there is no price increase for 2008. We know that a good proportion of our anglers have limited budget and travel costs are high.

Our fish supplier has promised us another year of excellent fighting fish. Their service has been invaluable and we are fortunate to have regular deliveries .We will close as usual during the summer from 28th July to re-open for the Bank Holiday on the 23rd August. Please note that the Troutmasters fish-off is on Thursday 17th April. Please notify us if you are eligible. The later date should be an advantage and we will endeavour to make it a really enjoyable day as always.

Barry has decided not to book any tuition this year but he will certainly honour any pre-booked commitments from 2007.

We look forward to seeing you all again, familiar and new faces, hopefully eager to cast a successful fly.
